Work Experience:
January 2004 until present: Senior
writer, The
Asian Banker. Research, write and edit articles on the
financial services in Asia, with a focus on the banks of East Asia, as
well as regional developments in payment systems, credit bureaux, and
branch banking. Articles range from 50-word perspectives and
short e-newsletter pieces to cover features or 16-page special
reports. Travel to banking conferences internationally, arrange
and conduct interviews with senior bankers up to the level of
CEO. Provide commentary on news spots for banking-related stories
on CNBC Asia and BBC.
November 2003: Established locally
incorporated company, called En Ideas.
May 2003 to December 2003: Freelance
writer, Singapore. Wrote, edited, and translated for a wide
